Boost Mobile and Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders announced that they have entered into a partnership with which Sanders will act as the company’s spokesperson.
Boost Mobile and Sanders have partnered to create an exclusive foldable smartphone with a striking gold and black design, the Coach Prime Motorola Razr. A slogan from Coach Prime “You Gotta Believe” graces the device. In addition to weekly motivational messages, Boost Mobile customers who purchase the limited edition Motorola Razr will receive motivational messages from Sanders. The financial agreement between the parties was not disclosed.
In order to increase the reach of its ad spots, Boost Mobile tapped into a variety of platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.The campaign, featuring Coach Prime’s social media endorsements, incorporates various promotional tactics such as digital advertising, commercials, radio spots, and in-store promotions. These initiatives aim to engage individuals aged 16 to 60, as well as target college football enthusiasts, highlighting Boost Mobile’s exclusive partnership with Coach Prime and the debut of the Boost-exclusive Coach Prime Motorola Razr.
Sean Lee, SVP of Consumer Product and Marketing at Boost Mobile, emphasized that both Coach Prime and Boost Mobile share a common ethos of motivation and inspiration, challenging conventional norms and championing communities. Boost Mobile being a Colorado-based company and Coach Prime serving as the head coach of the CU Buffs in Boulder, CO, facilitated the collaboration due to their geographical proximity, enabling a seamless partnership.
